The Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) is pleased to announce the release of resources in preparation for National Family and Life Week 2026 (#NFLW2026), taking place Sunday, 10 May to Sunday, 17 May 2026.
The theme for this year, “I am with you always” (Matthew 28:20), offers a profound reminder to the family, the domestic church (as described in the Catechism of the Catholic Church), that Christ accompanies us in every moment of life—in our joys, in our struggles, across generations, and through all of life’s experiences. NFLW2026 invites families and communities across Canada to reflect on this enduring promise and to celebrate the gift of family life.
To support dioceses and eparchies, parishes, institutes of consecrated life, Catholic schools, lay movements and associations, and family and life ministries in promoting this week, the CCCB Standing Committee for Family and Life, together with its corresponding Office, has developed a comprehensive suite of digital pastoral resources. These materials are designed to facilitate local collaboration and to help communities engage meaningfully with the theme.
