A Journey of Faith Begins Today…
World Youth Day (WYD) 2027, to be held in Seoul, South Korea, will bring together hundreds of thousands of young people from around the world with the Holy Father for a unique experience of faith, fellowship, and mission.
The Archdiocese of Gatineau is pleased to accompany a group of young pilgrims as they prepare to take part in this extraordinary international gathering.

World Youth Day (WYD) is open to all young adults who wish to experience a journey of faith, fellowship, and encounter with young people from around the world.
If you would like to join the Archdiocese of Gatineau’s delegation to World Youth Day Seoul 2027, we invite you to contact the person responsible for the pilgrimage. You will receive all the information you need about eligibility, preparation meetings, fundraising activities, and the next steps.
Who Can Participate?
- Young adults between the ages of 18 and 35 who wish to take part in this pilgrimage experience.
- Individuals who are willing to commit to the preparation program offered by the Archdiocese.
- Young people who will participate in the preparation meetings, formation sessions, and fundraising activities.

A Journey of Preparation That Goes Beyond the Trip
World Youth Day is more than just an event or a pilgrimage. It is a true journey of human, spiritual, and missionary growth.
Over the coming months, participants will have the opportunity to:
- Experience times of prayer, formation, and fellowship;
- Build friendships with other young people from our Archdiocese;
- Discover the richness of the universal Church;
- Take part in service opportunities and fundraising activities.
This journey of preparation will help each participant fully experience World Youth Day and return with a renewed missionary spirit to share with our communities.
Our Journey to Seoul
Throughout this journey of preparation, a variety of gatherings and activities will be offered:
- Gathering days;
- Spiritual activities;
- Fundraising events;
- Times of fellowship and celebration.
Taking part in World Youth Day Seoul 2027 is a significant commitment, both personally and financially. To make this unique experience of faith accessible to as many young people as possible, the project is funded through a shared effort involving the pilgrims themselves, parish communities, and the wider Archdiocesan community.

🔶Fundraising Brunch
One of our main fundraising activities is the World Youth Day Seoul 2027 Fundraising Brunch, which will be held on August 29, 2026, at Holy Trinity Parish.
You may purchase tickets for yourself or sponsor a young pilgrim or another person who would like to attend the event.
Tickets are also available at the following parishes:

- Our Lady of the Holy Rosary
