Pentecost

Pentecost, which always takes place on a Sunday between May 10 and June 13, is a Christian holiday that celebrates the arrival of the Holy Spirit. Although this feast occurs 49 days after Easter, it is often said to take place 50 days after, probably because of the origin of the word Pentecost, which comes from the Greek 'pentekoste', and means 'the fiftieth day', Easter being the first day.
