The Church defines marriage as an "alliance... by which a man and a woman constitute in themselves a lifelong partnership..."
For her, it’s a "sacred union that deserves the best preparation and the best celebration possible." That is why she invests a lot in it. Even if the announcement of registration into pre-marital courses is not always well received, the couples who follow them always say they don’t regret doing so.
Here is a comment from one of the participants: "I recommend them to all couples who want to get married, since they are very rewarding to each of us."
As with the other sacraments, couples who wish to register into pre-marital courses should contact their parish from eight months to a year before the desired wedding date, in order to find out the precise procedures to follow, as well as the available dates for the pre-marital courses.
