The Most Reverend Raymond Poisson is appointed as Bishop of the new Diocese of St-Jérôme-Mont-Laurier. Bishop Poisson was previously serving as the Bishop of both of the formerly separate dioceses of Saint-Jérôme and of Mont-Laurier.
