WITH JESUS IN THE MORNING
Gracious Father, I begin this day thanking you for the gift of Saint Elizabeth of Portugal. May I imitate her example and seek to reconcile others and work for peace in the world. I offer this day, including all my works, joys and sufferings, for the Pope’s intention this month. Our Father...
WITH JESUS IN THE AFTERNOON
“The Lord is amongst us and takes care of us, without deciding for us.” (Pope Francis) O God, please be with me today.
WITH JESUS IN THE NIGHT
At the end of this day, I am grateful, Lord, for the moments when I worked for peace. What obstacles remain in my own heart when working for peace and reconciling others? Heal my wounded heart, and grant that tomorrow, I may seek to be animated by your love and mercy, renewing the face of the earth. Our Father...
Evangelization:That our brothers and sisters who have strayed from the faith, through our prayer and witness to the Gospel, may rediscover the merciful closeness of the Lord and the beauty of the Christian life.
you call us to know and to follow your Son Jesus
as a model for our lives.
Help us to give a coherent testimony of our faith in Jesus,
which encounters the people around us.
The Gospel has an enormous force of transformation,
when it is lived in its radicality and beauty.
On the contrary,
a faith disconnected from life,
can cause scandal and isolation.
We ask for your forgiveness for our lack of consistency,
that lead so many brothers and sisters not to find in the Church a place full of life.
We pray for all who have strayed away from the faith,
that, with our prayer and witness,
they will be able to rediscover the joy of believing and living in Christ.
